About Online Okinawa
Online Okinawa is a multilingual directory portal built so that visitors to and residents of Okinawa can reach the information they need without a language barrier. The site is maintained in four languages: Japanese, Korean, English, and Chinese.
"Which hospital can see me in my own language if I fall ill?" "Which marine operators are properly licensed?" "Can I get to my destination from this bus stop?" "Who can drive my car home after I have been drinking?" — the site organises the questions that actually come up during a trip, so that each one is a single search away.

Where Our Data Comes From
Listings are compiled from registers and open data published by government bodies, together with information supplied by the operators themselves. Marine operator data is drawn from the register held by the Okinawa Prefectural Police and information published by the Okinawa Prefectural Public Safety Commission.
We review the data regularly, but closures, relocations, and changes to opening hours may not yet be reflected. Always confirm directly with the facility or operator before you rely on a listing. If you spot an error, please let us know.
