・Property Damage Liability (Damage to third-party vehicles, buildings, or structures)

Coverage Limit: Unlimited (per accident)

Customer Deductible: 100,000 JPY

・Personal Injury Protection (Injury/death to passengers inside the rental vehicle)

Coverage Limit: Up to 30,000,000 JPY per person

Customer Deductible: 0 JPY

・Collision Damage Coverage (Damage to the rental vehicle itself)

Coverage Limit: Up to current market value (applicable only to multi-vehicle collisions where the other party is identified)

■ Non-Operation Charges (NOC)

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

If vehicle repairs or specialized cleaning become necessary due to an accident, theft, mechanical breakdown, or interior stains/odors, customers are responsible for paying the following Non-Operation Charge (NOC) as partial compensation for business interruption during repairs, regardless of insurance status:

・If the vehicle is driven back to the designated return location under its own power: 25,000 JPY

・If the vehicle is disabled (unable to be driven safely) and not returned: 60,000 JPY

*Towing and transport expenses for disabled vehicles are strictly borne by the customer.

■【IMPORTANT】Single-Vehicle Accidents & Exclusions (Not Covered by Insurance)

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Single-vehicle accidents (self-inflicted accidents) and damages caused by customer negligence are completely excluded from insurance and compensation coverage.

In the event of such an occurrence, the customer is fully responsible for all repair and recovery costs.

【Examples of Excluded Incidents (Customer Pays Full Cost)】

・Collisions or scrapes against guardrails, utility poles, walls, curbs, or fences

・Scratches or bumps incurred during parking, garage maneuvering, or turnabouts

・Falling into roadside ditches or gutters, wheel drops, or rollovers

・Hit-and-run damages where the responsible third-party cannot be identified

・Cracked windshields/glass caused by flying gravel, flat tires, or tire blowouts

【Regarding Dead Battery / Jump-Starts】

・A dead battery is treated as a self-inflicted incident and is NOT covered by insurance.

・While roadside rescue and jump-start services can be dispatched, completely draining a battery significantly degrades its performance. Therefore, a flat-rate battery replacement fee of 20,000 JPY will be charged.

*Please be vigilant: do not leave headlights, hazard lights, or interior cabin lights on while the engine is off.

■ Steps in Case of an Accident or Breakdown

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

If an accident, collision, breakdown, or dead battery occurs, please take the following steps immediately on the spot:

Render aid to any injured persons (call 119 for emergency medical assistance if needed).

Contact our store immediately via your dedicated chat room.

*Our staff will place the official accident report call to the police (Dial 110) on your behalf.

Please remain at the scene without moving the vehicle and notify us via chat right away.

■ Circumstances Where Insurance Coverage Does Not Apply

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Basic insurance coverage will be completely void, and the customer will bear 100% of all damages, in any of the following circumstances:

・Failing to contact our store immediately and failing to secure an official police accident report.

・Accidents involving drivers who did not present a valid driver's license upon rental or unauthorized drivers not listed on the contract.

・Driving without a valid license, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, severe negligence, or violations of Japanese traffic laws.

・Violations of our rental terms and conditions, or accidents occurring during unauthorized rental extensions.

・Loss of car keys, interior damage, unauthorized smoking, or severe vehicle soiling.
